Oh boy, what a week we've had! Three swell's in 5 days with yesterday being an absolute stand out.

It's a rare day when the elements of swell, sand, sunshine and wind come together but yesterday was one of those days. You might get the impression I was surfing all day yesterday, but the truth is I was doing my day-off so I missed it too - Sad Face.

Today's not too bad a consolation. The 18 second period south swell doesn't seem to have arrived but there's enough energy to get you amped. In fact, I saw more barrels ridden and made in half an hour this morning than I saw in two hours yesterday. I'm out there! 

It's the long weekend (can't remember why we get Monday off but I'm not complaining) and if you're sticking around Sydney the sunshine will be back with maybe a wave or two!
