:: Trans Tasman

As a surf travel destination New Zealand isn't at the top of the list for most Australian surfers, and the Kiwi's don't mind at all.  New Zealand might not have the same exotic appeal as Indonesia, The Maldives or Pacific Island's, but Trans-Tasman surf travel has a ton of benefits, and the quality of waves is definitely one of them.  New Zealand's West Coast regularly scores big Southern Ocean groundswells and the East Coast receives swells from the Pacific and the two coasts are only two hours apart so the wind is always offshore somewhere. On paper NZ has all the makings for an epic surf road rip! For the next two weeks we're going to be exploring New Zealand's North Island and bringing Sprout to you from the back of a camper on the road in the Land of the Long White Cloud.  Over the weekend we kicked off the journey in classic style at Raglan, New Zealand's most famous surf townships.  The waves were pumping, the sun was shining and according to the forecast there's plenty more to come.

Stay tuned for adventures from NZ!
