There's not much happening on the surf front in Manly today - take your time and relax back into the three day week.  You're not missing anything if you're at work today.  How good was that five daya huh!  Eggs and ANZACs and the Bell ringing in Torquay.  If you missed the final day of the Rip Curl Pro it was smoking!  Clean 6-8ft Bells.  You can still watch the heat highlights at the Rip Curl Pro website if you're looking for something to fill the time. This weekend Pro Longboarding returns to the North Beaches with the MalJam at Curl Curl.  There's going to be some new mixed in with the old with divisions including the Pro's, Toothpicks and the Log division.

Old Mal exponent Isaac Fields will be in town trying to thread his Bennett log through the Curly backwash along with a whole host of international, out of state and local longboarders.  Isaac has been working on refining his Isaac Fields Model log with the team at Barry Bennett.  It's a classic log outline with just a hint of modern foil.  Not for the novice but perfect for those looking to draw some classic log lines.
