The Wall

Warped

The south swell has arrived with plenty of raw southern energy and a consistent pulse of thumping bass. It's nice to see a constant rhythm of sets stacked up in the Tasman. The trouble with these south swell is they can present themselves pretty straight on our stretch of coast and finding the spot can be an endless commute from carpark to headland.

I bounced through the suburbs this morning from Manly to The Joey and settled on the most photogenic, rather than the most surfable waves. In fact, I saw less then a handful of waves ridden but the spectacle was well and truely worthy of the commute. Now, somewhere's got to be pumping...

Tomorrow the swell is going to ramp up a gear or two - you out there?
