The Ruffle

Smudged Sky

Smudged Sky

There was the briefest of breaks in the onshore overnight. A faint Sou-Wester snuck in under the cover of darkness from midnight 'til 7am this morning. It was just enough to give the swell a light polish around the edges but nowhere near enough to clean it up completely.  So, it's Friday morning and we're looking at a ruffled ocean once again.

Low tide was a 9am. If you've got surfing on the agenda today my advice is wait until mid-tide later in the day or put it off until the sunset session this evening. The wind's been light and the tide favourable.

Here's a couple of things to think about this weekend:

  • The Quiksliver Pro will kick off the 2018 WSL Championship Tour this weekend. There's sand and swell at Snapper for a Sunday start!
  • True Flowers is on next Thursday at Bondi Pavillion. Get a ticket before the whole Eastern Suburbs finds out about it!
  • Sunday is the wind is looking light and maybe even offshore.  What!!

Have a good one!
