The Ratio

5:48am - Right On Time!

If you’re into waves then you would have enjoyed this morning.  If you’re into surfing…. well, I reckon your session could have gone either way.  While there was no shortage of waves, I’d say maybe only 1 in 5 were surfable on the early low-tide but that ratio was swinging in our favour as the tide started to push back in.  .

By the time I was leaving the beach guillotining closeouts were transitioning to something a little more makable – top-turns, cutbacks and a reasonably frequent open tube section.  Enough potential to drop the cameras and switch to surfing.

Sea Salt Society has opened on Darley Road serving up a fresh offering and new flavours to that stretch of restaurants frequented by locals and tourists.   Go see Rob and he’ll get you sorted with a coffee and walk you through the menu.
