I don't know whether it was the World Cup Final, the cold or just Monday but the crowd in the water this morning was noticeable sparse. Good for those that ventured in as yesterday's closeouts had morphed into smaller but way more surfable conditions this morning. There were lefts and rights peeling into gutters and rips the whole stretch of the beach. Congratulations to the German side for taking out the World Cup Final in Rio this morning. Probably the perfect result for the brewers and beers halls across Sydney and the world. I just turned up 2 minutes too late and missed a length of The Corso nude streak from one crazy supporter who was hiding up in a very cold ocean waiting for his pants to show up. I'm sure 10 schnapps will warm him back up.
