Sydney, you're so hot right now! At 5am it was 24 degrees, we're already well above 30 and the mercury is on rapid ascent. The Bureau is calling for a top of 39 degrees but you get the feeling we're going to punch through 40 degrees with a warm Westerly fanning the heat over us.

Sweet relief will come in the form of a Southerly buster late this afternoon but we've got a long slow-cook ahead of us.  Waves? Not really.  But, you'd be hard pressed finding a better place to be than the cool Tasman today.
