Slow Roast
Apparently yesterday was one of Sydney's hottest days on record. Out on the western reaches of the city it reached 47 degrees. You could cook slow roast in that heat!
In Manly the sea-breeze was in perfect operation and if you didn't stray far from the water you were spared the sizzle. Sure it was warm, but I reckon it topped out at 35 degrees seaside.
Surfing on your mind? This morning's there's a mix of swells, neither of which is packing much potential. A weak Nor-East wind swell is limping into the southern ends and a small South-East swell is trying to ignite the other end. Either way it's marginal - Go surf with a heap of foam or just rinse off the humidity with a swim.
If you're back at work but want to keep the summer vibes running, waste some time on the Summer Bright site. Beaches, Summer stories and surfing - There's some cool content on there like this clip from Burleigh Heads
