6.8 degrees.  That's what my phone was telling me the temperature was when I left the house at 6am this morning! Man that's cold, specially given we've been basking in late summer conditions! Right now we've barely made it to 12 and I'm still wrapped in down! It's starting to feel like Winter may arrive after-all. 

If you make it across the sand without your toes freezing, you'll find it's a very pleasant 22 degrees in the water. There's swell this morning although it's really south with a bit of west in the mix. If you look out to sea you can actually see the back of the swell as its move up the coast and away from us. Manly's only getting a small slice, you'll need to head up the Beaches if you want to expose yourself to more of the swell.
