Shine

Beautiful morning this morning.  The sun is shining and there's still the remains of the East ground swell that's been with us since Sunday.  If earlier in the week was a little steep and scary for you today is just about perfect for all.  The logs and fishes are back in the water with their trim act but there's still enough punch on the shorey sections for the short boarders to put their air act to the test. On the other side of the Pacific the Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro has kicked off over there in California.  If you find yourself wanting some more surfing in your life tune in to watch the event live (you'll have to be up early) or watch the heat highlight reel.  Most of the WCT crew are involved and mixing it up with the serious young rippers in four-man heats.

Closer to home the Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic is on hold at Dee Why Point today.  With a fresh round of South Swell due tomorrow the ladies will be getting loose and limber for some serious surfing Friday.  Go down and watch the new breed of girls tearing the local waves to shreds.
