While we're out hunting waves on days like this, there's a huge group of people finding pleasure in the simply act of swimming. The Bold & Beautiful Swimmers have been donning their pink caps, wading out beyond the shallows of South Steyne and crossing Cabbage Tree Bay on a daily basis since as long as I can remember. I've heard over 10,000 people have done the swim with the BnB since inception! Huge!

Beyond the BnB, there's a swim club and Ocean Pool on just about every headland from Manly to Palm Beach. Some pools are Olympic in size and stature while others are secluded rock pools more suited to leisure than laps.

If you're a swimmer on the Northern Beaches you're in paradise and this morning was prime time for rolling the arms over! If you were swimming this morning and the choper overhead spooked you, apologies. No shark spotting, just beautiful photos to be made. Hope you enjoy them!
