The only thing cooler than pulling up to the beach in a Kombi with a van full of boards is rocking up in an old convertible with your board sticking out the top.  I'm not that into cars but the thought of driving down the beach on a warm morning like today in an open top got me jazzed! Rocking man! Beautiful morning down surfside this morning.  It was warm early with a beautiful purple glow and a mystic sunrise.  Great for snapping and there were plenty of camera's on the beach.   Surfwise it was a little disappointing though - overnight onshores have left a bump and wobble in the fading ENE swell.  But, with 32 degrees on the Bureau's cards for Sydney today you're probably going to be tempted into the water for a cool down.
