There's a South swell a coming; it just hasn't arrived yet.  This morning it's pure, mellow longboard walls running just that bit too fast - even the 12footers were out-paced.

The charts tell us it'll be 4-6ft+ by tomorrow on the South-facing stretches - should be solid.

Maybe we'll see a little more energy as the tide fills in during the day today - the higher-tides seem to be favouring us at the moment.

Despite the lack of swell it was still a sensational morning out there.  Cold? sure!  But the air is so clear and the light so warm and soft right now, it's a great time of the year for photography.
