Quiet
Classic Sydney Autumn morning out on the sand today. The wind has a serious chill to it first light but there's enough warmth in the sun to remind us that winter hasn't arrived just yet.
There's still a little residual South swell running. Queencliff's getting the odd one-and-a-half footer so there'd have to be 2 foot sets up the beaches and over the hill.
There most noticeable thing about this morning was how quite it was. It's hard to think there were 300+ surfers jammed into the space between South Steyne and Queenscliff just a couple of days ago. This morning you might struggle to count 20. Good news if you're into small waves!
