Peak

Surf Check

If you made it out yesterday afternoon I reckon you might have scored the peak of the long-period South-East swell. I paddled out by the pool at Queenscliff an hour before sunset and the power and girth of the swell caught me off guard. It might not have reached 6ft but it was there was some serious thickness to the swell.

This morning it's dropped back a touch and there's a little residual bump on the water from the Nor-Easters. The wind is really light so keep an eye on it; there's probably a second session in the making if you've got the time.

The Crew from Banks Journal have created a Pop-Up Sale Store in the heart of Freshwater. It's a sweet little shop with real big deals - doors about at 9am tomorrow!
