Took flight this morning for the Gold Coast.   They've had the first swell of the Summer the last couple of days and it should be cooking on the Queensland and Northern NSW points for the next couple of days.  When I arrived this morning the huge high-tide's we've been experiencing lately was in full flood.  It was too full for the bank from Snapper through to Greenmount and Kirra was trying to do it's thing but it was just way too deep.   The swell's there, it's just too full right now.   This afternoon should be a different story. I'll be driving down the coast over the weekend hoping to sample some of my favourite spots with this East Swell that's running.  Back in Manly town for the daily email on Monday.
