School's back, the public holidays are spent (until the April flurry) which means the coastal camp grounds and carparks up the coast will be emptying out and returning to normality.   Perfect time for a quick escape up the coast with all the benefits of summer sans the summer crowds. This morning we're up around the back beaches of Crescent Head.  It's hot, just a touch hotter than Sydney right now, and there's a small Nor-East wind swell and onshore winds.  Not ideal conditions for the point but there's plenty of back beaches worth a hunt out of the wind.

Heard the wind just went Southerly in Sydney; that should cool things down - hopefully it makes it here by tomorrow.
