Offshore
Oh joy! Finally we have a dawn with offshore winds and a silky smooth ocean. Feels like an age ago since we've been graced with an offshore and it sure makes a different to the aesthetic of the experience. To top it off the water is as clear and as warm as it's been all summer. The MHL Sydney offshore buoy registered a sea-surface temperature of +25 degrees; that's about as warm as it gets down this way!
There's a bit of ESE swell hanging around and the offshore winds are forecast to hold until midday. If you're lucky enough to have time on your hands, now's a good time to soak yourself in the brine.
