Noir

Full Flare

I didn’t spend much time in the water this morning; probably 30 minutes max. But wow! What a thirty minutes it was out there!

The clouds lit up fluorescent pink and orange against a dark blue grey sky before a slow gradual fade out. Light and dark, the perfect contrast.

The sea-surface was oil-slick glassy making for some amazing reflections; the kind you only see when you’re bobbing around with your eye’s just on sea-level.

Surf you ask? I’d like to be as endearing about the surf conditions but it just wasn’t happening. Just a weak 1 foot wind swell crumbling in.  Longboard maybe; on a shortboard it’d be a struggle. I didn’t hang about long after the colour faded, I was too keen to relive the sunrise show.
