New Sand

River Mouth

Been down to Queenscliff at low tide recently?  You'd hardly recognise the place! There's a meandering brook flowing from Manly lagoon and a sand bank that extends almost to the end of Queenscliff Headland. I've never seen the sand so far out! Now the question is, what's it going to do when the tide comes up and we've got a bit of swell? Manly's new Mundaka? 


The ocean was flat at Manly at first light this morning but there's a hint of South swell out on the horizon. Stay turned if you want to surf as I suspect we'll start to see a bit more action on the banks as the tide fills in
