Hope you made it up in time to get a glimpse of the sunrise this morning. It was a stunning spring sunrise with a full sky of colour from horizon to horizon; there must be a change in the weather coming our way.

If you were up early enough for the sunrise then you probably got the best of the surf too. The nor-easter blew up around 7am and it's settled in for a couple of days. There's not many options to escape it when it's 15-20 knots. At least the wind swell will be on the rise but the next chance for an offshore probably won't be until Thursday morning.
