It was almost a complete grey-out on the ocean this morning. Flat, defused light and not a breath of wind merged the sea with the sky into a monotone grey. There's some tiny runners out there and plenty of down time between sets to stare out into the void.

The Sun's coming out now along with the Northerly wind. You all set for an afternoon watching stop two on the WSL Championship Tour? The first heat is a cracker with Kelly, Mick and Roman young gun Leonardo Fioravanti. Word is the waves are pumping and the hooter might be sounded at North Point, Margaret River very shortly.
