There was just enough light wispy clouds in the sky this morning to light up the dawn sky and add some texture and colour to the sunrise.  Those light clouds are long gone now and there a solid band of weather moving through from the South,  we might be in for thunderstorms this afternoon ahead of a stiff Southerly change this evening. There was no sign of the jump in South swell that was forecast first thing this morning, only Nor-East wind swell whipped up by yesterday's sea breeze.  I took a drive over to Curly hoping for a bit more size but Manly had the better offering of the Nor-East swell.  End section floaters were definitely the move of the day as there were plenty of closeouts in the mix.
