The light just after sunrise this morning was some of the best I've seen. Not sure what is was but if I could take a guess I reckon it had something to do with those offshore winds yesterday clearing the atmosphere of the moisture. It didn't last long due to some heavy cloud rolling in and blocking the sun but while it lasted it was something else! Photographers version of "going off!" Hope you managed to find a couple of waves yesterday, heard it was cooking mid-afternoon and offshore right through to the sunset. This morning the swell was still holding in at 2-3ft and clean as a whistle; good times if you could find a gift peak to yourself.
