Jet lag's a funny thing. Even with the relative short jump across the Tasman I found myself waking up to another timezone. 4am's not a bad time to stretch out the travel stiffness but it's a little early for a paddle out - even with the discarded daylight-savings time. Still, if you wanted to get the jump on the Friday crowd, a 4am paddle-outs might not seem such a crazy idea.

There's a neat little ENE swell running out there today with a light Southerly adding some texture. If you're missing your Friday afternoon session post-daylight-savings, don't stress, the weekend is looking pretty satisfying with sunshine, light winds and a decent stream of East swell.
