It's the moment everybody in Sydney has been talking about. The King, The Champ, The G.O.A.T - call him what you will, but Kelly Slater draws a crowd in surfing circles and beyond! There was a buzz on the beach at 11am when Heat 9 of Round 2 got under with the 11 x World Champion surfing in a four man heat on our very own home stretch of sand!

If you missed Kelly's heat today, the good news is he nailed it and he'll be back for Round 3 whenever that's run. Reckon he can take out the title? Too early to say...

All things considered the waves have been pretty amazing so far. Sure, it's slow on the high tide, but when the waves come they're so rippable;\], especially for the world's best surfers.
