Yeah, it's Monday. We're on a gentle in incline to the middle of the week but then it'll be all down hill from there. 

There was a slight indication that we might we have a tiny bump in South swell this morning however I didn't see any evidence of it. In fact, it was just a jumble of short-period swells, hardly enough push to get even the longest board afloat.

The week ahead looks like it's going to be a real treat weather-wise. Sunshine, Sunny and more Sun and light winds al week; there won't be much swell through. I'm heading North to the Gold Coast this afternoon so maybe there'll be a little more on offer up that way.

Heard of Plastic Free July? If you're a surfer and you love the ocean then reducing your use of singe-use plastics such as take-away coffee cups, spoons, straws, etc should be way up on your agenda. By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean then fish!

How about saying no to single-use this July, could be the start of something!
