Hold The Phone
On paper this morning had all the elements of a decent morning of surf - Plenty of swell and a check of the wind at first light revealed it was SW. Tick, tick - all good news!
However, reality painted a different picture. The swell's straight on the low-tide banks and the sea had been junked up by some wind out to sea overnight. It was hardly a pretty picture!
The good news is there's still a heap of potential. The swell's going to swing around and add more East to the direction over the coming days and the latest check of the wind I made showed it was WNW - that's going to iron out the bumps pretty quickly I reckon.
Hold the phone, Reg - might be worth another look!
