The heaters are on full-blast for a couple of days in Sydney.  It's 28 degrees in Manly right now and we're going to peak in the mid 30's today.  If you're chasing relief, you'd best make plans to point yourself to the beach as soon as the work whistle goes this afternoon. It's going to stay hot all the way through to the late afternoon and evening. Not much surf about on our stretch of sand this morning.  Heard it's much bigger (3 ft) on the South exposed beaches further up the coast. Got the day off? Might be worth a drive North or South if you're keen.
