This morning's offerings are minimal if you're looking for waves.  There's a shapely bank in the northern corner catching a tiny bit of the South Swell but expect a long cold wait. It's a long time between one wave sets.  At the moment most of the swell is being deflected off the coast by these stiff Westerlies.  There's a South Swell out on the increase which we start to seeing the effect of on the South facing beaches by this afternoon.  Go check Coastalwatch for finer details. Yesterday an all-star cast officially announced that a Billabong/Hurley jointly sponsored event will be held at Manly February 2012.  The Australian Open of Surfing will offer half a million bucks of prize money for an event that spanning Surfing, Skate and Fashion.  Get set for a party come Feb!
