Feeling a little frosty today? It was a touch below 6 degrees when I walked across the sand this morning; that's brisk! Contrast that with the ocean which is sitting at a very comfortable 20 degrees - little wonder the Tasman's is steaming up like a sauna.
It was an ethereal experience in the line-up this morning. Soft winter light and a dreamy, slow moving mist drifting lightly across the sea. Every time a set would break the steam machine would crank-up a notch and the whole line-up would be floating! The world at sea-level was a special place to be.
Surfing? The weekend South Swell is fading but there's still some life left in it. The kids are on vacation so the enthusiasm levels in the line-up are up a notch or two so you better bring your a-game.
