:: Early Morning Steamer
Steamy morning on the beach this morning; by 7:30am it was already 23 degrees and rising rapidly. The Bureau is calling for a top of 31 in the city today although Manly will probably be spared the full force of the heat with a light sea breeze keeping it cool on the sand. Tomorrow's going to be even hotter so make plans to spend some time in the soup. Apart from the odd algae bloom and shark infested whale carcass the water's clear and delightfully refreshing at 21 degrees. The onshore was up this morning before dawn making the 1 foot windswell look even less attractive. I didn't spend much time shooting surfing, all the action was on the beach. Tomorrow if we're lucky we may see a period of offshore winds from the Nor-West and a little more NE wind swell but with 33 degrees forecast you'll want to get wet regardless.
