Down Low
Swell's up from yesterday and conditions are clean with a light offshore early. It's neat and tidy out there at the moment but the banks are still a little funky with some deep gutters in the mix. If you managed a couple of cutbacks or ran the log through the gutter there was a punchy little shore break to play with. The waves linking up from out back were 4 turns to the beach while others faded as quick as they started. Jag a good one and you're styling! Some interesting conditions starting to take shape for the weekend ahead; things should firm up later in the week so keep your eye out. Out in Tahiti the Billabong Pro is in waiting mode with the main event kicking off 20 August. Latest predictions are for solid conditions...
CupCake Day The crew from Havaianas are having a little tussle over who can raise the most dollars for the RSPCA's CupCake Day. Were backing our mates in Team WA so if you want to join in and throw a couple of bucks in the bucket click here. Havaianas will match dollar for dollar the amount raised by the highest state team! Nice work team!
