Morning!
I've been distracted by the Quiksilver Pro all morning.  If you haven't heard already, finals day is live from the famed Kirra Point right now. It's solid! There's a heap of water moving down the point and there's some crazy wide open barrels exploding on fine-packed sand. It's challenging and a long way from perfection but watching the world's best go mining for diamonds at Kirra makes for riveting viewing. 

There's some serious water moving out there today.  The rip's are super-charged and the banks are super shallow. It's a tricky proposition to surf and shoot but well worth putting in the time; the rewards will set you off!

The wind's due to blow up from the Nor-East this afternoon.  Get in while you can!
