:: Crescent

Heard it's been raining bucket loads in Sydney. The rain here's been patchy, one minute the dark clouds are gathering the next it's blue sky and sunshine; don't know whether it's coming or going. The wind's finally swung to the South, well it's actually more like East-South-East. Not ideal for the point up here but better than a Nor-Easter - worth a paddle.

Yesterday we spent the day swimming in the Tea Tree Lakes behind Crescent. The water's fresh but the tannin from the surrounding forrest turns the water alkaline and dyes it a deep red colour. Imagine swimming in a cup of tea that shampoos your hair - Perfect place to wash off the camping dust!

Looks like there's a bit of swell back home - see you back there tomorrow!
