The morning started dark with a fairly liveable temperature as the Sun's full force was blocked by a heavy bank of cloud on the horizon. Once the sun broke free though, the blast of heat was almost instant and the 38 degrees forecast for for Sydney became very apparent. There's a fresh little Nor-East wind swell and peaks up and down the beach. The wind's due to be WNW most of the day so find time to put the tools down and go for a paddle today. Now might even be the time. It's going to be cooking and the water's your best bet for some relief.
