:: Convoy

We've got swell, but it's not quite lived up to the anticipated size or cleanliness just yet.  There's some 4 foot sets rolling in occasionally at South Steyne but the banks are funky and the swell's got a bit of morning sickness from the overnight Northerly.  As expected the crowds are onto it big time - first sniff of swell in at least 5 days so there's some excitement on the sand.I reckon give it a few hours and we might see what we're really in for.

Huge congratulations to Gold Coaster Adam Scott who just took out the US Masters.  Scott's the first ever Australian to don the coveted Green Jacket.  Back at his home, the Gold Coast point are turning on flawless waves to help celebrate! Well done mate!
