The sky lit up this morning in simple celebration of Friday. And why wouldn't you celebrate? We're on the eve of the Queen's Birthday long weekend - Happy Birthday QEII - from all of us with a day off on Monday!

Apart from the sunrise, the rest of the morning was touch dim.  The swell is a mix of ENE and SE, neither of which has any real gravitas. 

I caught up with Isaac Fields and Tom Bennett down at the contest bank where the 31st Snowy McAllister contest will be held over the weekend.  If you're in town, swing by for a peak at some classic Ol' Mal and Log surfing!
