Hope you were up for sunrise this morning, blink though, and you might have missed the whole thing. The sky lit up in a burst of colour and light just as the sun snuck over the horizon only to fade to grey moments later.  I love those intense sunrises! They're one of those great collective experiences that nature puts on every so often to remind us we're all here together.

The surf wasn't particularly appealing at first light this morning. It was bumpy, low-tide closeouts; the south swell seems to have faded.  However, as the morning progressed and the incoming tide added some water to the banks it the Nor-East wind swell was shaping up ok. Got time?  Might be worth another look!
