Hold on to your hat! The west wind is blowing and Sydney is going to burn today. We're in for a serious taste of summer with hot dry winds and a top of 37 degrees. There were droves of people making the most of the warm morning and it'll be like a peak summer evening on the sand this afternoon with temps hanging above thirty til sunset. Afternoon swim - oh yeah!
To kick off this preview to summer the sky lit up with some spectacular light. At 5:45am it was burning like a fire, by 6:05 we were back to dull greys with just a dusty orange line on the horizon.
