Building...

Smooth

The south swell is on the build and it's going to stick around Sydney through the weekend and beyond, just in time as we lock into the winter season. It's been a brisk week so far, I’ve had to peel my frozen fingers from the lens several times already.

Right now it's shoulder-high at south-facing beaches; come late Friday we're going to see double-overhead sets, even bigger on the outside reefs.

Stop #4 on the WSL Championship Tour is underway in Margaret River, WA. The ladies are in the water and the waves look super fun at Main Break. Jump ahead a couple of days and the event's going to get real interesting with the forecast for 10-15ft on Saturday! The waves will be on both sides of the country!
