Blow Over

mfsprout_20190402_54.jpg

The clouds have blown over, the swell has angled a touch east and there's a light offshore doing its best to iron the bumps out of a raw, mixed swell. It might not be the prettiest of pictures but if it's waves you're chasing you'll find fun, semi-clean peaks and wedges pretty much anywhere you look. Yep - they're pout there! The wind's going to swing onshore sometime during the day but I don't reckon it'll make much difference.

The world's elite surfers have gathered on the Gold Coast awaiting the first heat of the 2019 World Championship Tour. The Quiksilver Pro waiting period starts tomorrow and it looks like there'll be a little bit of East swell running down the sand - who's your pick?
