Dropping the Hammer

Morning! Bonzer of a day out there! 27 degrees is on the card for Sydney today with sunshine and warm west, nor-west offshore winds. While the predominant swell is still from the south, yesterday's onshore breeze has pushed up a bit of east swell adding a few fun looking peaks to our stretch of sand.

At the end of September, Manly local Tully White will be paddling into the best waves that Kelly Slater's Surf Ranch can served up for Stop #1 of the WSL Women's Longboard Tour. With all the uncertainty around travel right now, it's been a long and anxious wait for Tull to see if she could make the trip for a shot at a World Longboard Title - It's a big deal! This morning's short, shallow little peaks were a far cry from The Surf Ranch and Malibu (WSL Stop #2) but it gave her a chance tuck in, relax a little and get a bit of vision. All the best Tully!

Today is Double Donation Day for "Make A Wave" with Billabong matching donations to SurfAid. I'm about to paddle out for Day 8 so if you want to send a little support my way it's a good day for it - Donate directly here. I might even surf twice as long just to stay on Double Day theme! Cheers fo your support!
