I got caught on the surf check treadmill this morning. Check here; have a look there, maybe it'll be better the next spot north, etc, etc. In the end I reckon the best waves I saw were from the car as I parked back at home. The swell's eased this morning from yesterday's madness but there's still straight lines of solid energy out of the south. The wind is crisp and consistent out of the west. 

It's a bit more user friendly today although the south-facing beaches and reefs are still double-to-triple overhead so show caution.  Seek and you'll probably find something to satisfy your taste... I reckon I'm going to stay close to home.
