Low Low

Tully & Ella

We've had some big tides lately. Low lows and high highs. This morning the low tide was just 0.2m at 6:48am, close to the lowest of the year. I'm not sure if it's true, but it feels to me like an incoming tide adds a little energy to the ocean... and this morning we need all the energy we can muster. It's small and straight; the banks just aren't set up for these low-low tides.

On the other hand the light has been outstanding lately. Yesterday we had the double; a beautiful sunrise and spectacular sunset. The last two pictures in the post today are from yesterday morning and evening respectively.

It's the King's Birthday long weekend this weekend; feels kind of weird saying it doesn't it. Cheers for the holiday and happy birthday (for November). Weather is looking sunny but a touch cool... it is winter after all.

Have a good one!
