188˚
188˚ South
We're in for a solid run of south swell. Multiple bumps of south swell are lining up deep in the Tasman to provide us with plentiful swell over the coming days. There should be waves all the way into next weekend and beyond. Today's swell is 188 degrees south and ruler straight, it's 2-3ft on the Manly-Queenscliff stretch and double-overhead-plus in fully exposed spots.
While south swell's ain't ideal, it's better than nada. If you're keen, there'll be options worth chasing up and down the coast as well as close to home; wind's going to be good too. The swell's supposed to kick a little tomorrow with Saturday and Monday looking like the peak of the foreseeable swell.
Might see you out there.
