Moods
I like these moody mornings. When we've got low clouds moving across the sky at dawn theres always a chance of a flash of light and colour if the sun finds a little breathing space. This morning was a really nice one! We had 10 minutes of bright light and heavy contrast splitting the clouds and lighting up the faces of a steady stream of swimmers down at South Steyne. Early morning life down that end of the beach always makes for a spectacle.
After shooting sunrise at South Steyne I went in search of a wave down the Queenscliff end of the beach but it was seriously slim picking! Not sure whether it's a lumpy mixed swell, the banks or just the wrong tide - either way, there's wasn't much doing.
Maybe later... maybe tomorrow.
