Dusty Pink

Dusty Pink

Dusky pink sunrise, a good mix of SSE and NE swell's and light winds made for a sensational morning out on the sand. The last handful of years Freshwater has been fertile pastures for youth development and this morning a host of young local rippers were picking the eyes out of the mixed swell under the discerning eye of Jarrad Howse. The other Boardriders Club's are on notice!

Cheers to everyone that turned up and tuned in to the re-launch of the Manly Freshwater World Surfing Reserve yesterday including local Federal MP Zali Steggall & State Member James Griffin. I feel honoured to be asked to be part of the committee alongside local stalwarts Scott Bell, Doug Lees, Richie Lovett, Susie Crick and Portuguese import and coastal engineer Joao Castro. We'll be reengaging with the community with an eye on threats and opportunities to enrich this special zone for good.

Wind's up from the south... time to get some work done.
