If you're at work already, I hope you packed the wet weather gear!  The Bureau say's we're in for a wet afternoon and the weekend is only looking margining better: Rain, Showers, Rain. The news is all good for those farms and bushfire prone area's west of here that are set for another soaking. We'll take all the good news we can get right now!

Down on the sand this morning we had a quick flash of pink before the clouds muted the scene to grey. There's fun little waves about if you're keen and ca work out where to paddle out. The banks are a real dynamic mix of shallow sand and deep water making timing critical.

The weekend surf outlook is shaping up ok; a bit of south swell, a bit of east swell before a serious bump on Monday (with wind).
